Sun-Direction.com is published by TECHY SARL, registered in Tunis, head office BP 216 Sousse Khezama Charkia Post Office 4051 Sousse, Tunisia. This page explains what happens to data when you visit the site. It was last updated in September 2026.
Nothing that identifies you. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no contact form, and no login. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your phone number, and we do not sell or rent data about you to anyone.
The site does read your location in one case only: if you use the "my position" control on a sun-direction map, your browser asks your permission and sends the coordinates to the page so it can draw the sun's direction where you are standing. That happens in your browser. We do not store those coordinates and they are gone when you close the tab. Declining the browser prompt leaves every other part of the page working.
When you visit a site, that site can place a small text file - a cookie - on your device, which lets a server recognise the device on a later visit. A cookie identifies the device, not the person using it.
The cookies set here fall into two groups:
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work; some conveniences may not.
This site is free to read and is paid for by advertising served by Google, using the AdSense programme. Google is an independent controller of the data it collects through those ads, and its own policy governs it: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you are shown a consent choice before any personalised advertising cookie is set, and you can change that choice at any time - the consent tool reopens from the privacy link it places on the page. Refusing personalised ads does not remove the ads; it makes them non-personalised, which is a weaker signal to the advertiser and a smaller payment to us, and that is a trade we accept rather than one we hide.
You can also turn personalised advertising off across every Google property at Google Ads Settings.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-less, records no identifier that follows you between sites, and reports only aggregates - how many people opened a page, from which country, in which kind of browser. We cannot single out an individual visitor in it, and neither can anyone else.
Requests are served from Cloudflare's network, which has locations worldwide, so a page may be delivered from a server outside your country. Advertising data is processed by Google under its own safeguards for international transfers. We do not operate any other processor and we hold no database of visitors.
Under the GDPR and comparable laws you may ask for access to your personal data, its correction or its deletion, and you may object to its processing. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, a request about the advertising data collected on this site is best made to Google directly; write to us and we will point you to the right place and confirm what we do and do not hold. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Questions about this policy, or about anything on the site: [email protected].
If this policy changes, the revised version is published here with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, which is itself a consequence of collecting nothing.
